Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Tirupati inaugurated ACM student chapter on November 15th 2014. Our ACM group ID is 124751.
Mr. Sunil Chengalva, Accenture team lead was invited by us. He inaugurated student chapter followed by launching Web site with URL http://svc.acm.org. There was also a talk on Big data for about 2 hours.
Dr. N. Sudhakar reddy, principle encouraged students with his speech to take part in such kind of organizations and to conduct events in college.
Dr. A. Nageswar rao, HOD of CSE dept described the importance and benifits of being a member of ACM and about the technical knowledge we gain through many sources of ACM.
Ms. A. Manogna, SV College ACM student chapter chair narrated the occurrences which led to the formation of the student chapter and listed the upcoming events.
There are 33 members in SV college ACM student chapter and is increasing its number. On the day of inauguration 20 student chapter members co-ordinated the event and 200 students voluntarily attended the event.
